We begin with a ride through the village, then follow a country lane towards Ascuna, an area with a spring and two lakes where we can enjoy the quiet and the views.

OUR ROUTE
From the village, through the woods,
to the Danube.
We set off from Home & Garden for a day of riding and exploring: country lanes, lakes, woodland and waterside stops. After a break at Bechet harbour, we return by road.
Towards the sands of Ianca
We continue through the woods towards the sands of Ianca and on towards the Danube, taking breaks along the way to explore and take photographs.
Stops by the water
We cycle along the Danube embankment, with detours through the woods to the water. We stop here and there to enjoy the views and explore.
Coffee with a Danube view
At Bechet harbour we stop for coffee, views and photographs. The return to Home & Garden follows the road.
Before you set off.
- Distance and duration
- 30–50 km · approximately 4–6 hours, depending on the route and stops.
- Pace and terrain
- Relaxed pace · route adapted to the group · 30–50 km. We ride on country lanes, woodland tracks, the embankment and roads.
- Bikes and accompaniment
- Each participant brings their own bicycle. A local companion accompanies the group along the route.
- Group size and price
- Minimum 4 participants · €20 / person. You can add dinner on your return for €15 / person — a total of €35 per person with dinner.
Before we leave, we agree on a route that suits the group and the conditions that day. Please let us know when you enquire if you would like dinner too.
